I fully agree with Nathan Newman: We ought to see a more public progressive housing policy. People are forced to pay too much to keep roofs over their heads, especially in America's big cities, and the best solution to this problem is to let developers build more housing. Yes, this means supporting the capitalists against middle-class NIMBY activists, but the awkward poitics shouldn't blind us from the best policy.
