Game's Club Night
Jan. 25th, 2003 03:11 pmMust have spent 20 minutes getting dressed (T-shirt, sweater, underwear, long underwear, pants, socks, boots, scarf, gloves, hat..). Thought about what game to bring, decided on Taj Mahal (never got to play it). Got hit in the balls by Advanced Squad Leader rules, damn that hurt.
Braved the cold, waited for bus. Read Economist, curiousity piqued by 4-winged dinosaur. Arrived, got shit from security guard, persuaded him to let me in anyway. ladymondegreen, agrumer, mnemex, bigscary. drcpunk. Made and heard silly JUTE WAXER jokes ("man, that is one smooth Jute!"). Couldn't resist tickling ladymondegreen's tummy. (Very cute tummy.)
Played Agora withagrumer, got beat badly. (See his LJ for details.) Talked politics with bigscary, stayed up far, far too late, as always. Finally hauled my sleepy, junk-filled butt back to Queens, cursing myself but knowing I'd be back next week for the same damn thing.
