All of you remember this one, I'm sure:

Bill wants to make school-buses stop at railroad crossings, and we should acknowledge that this is a completely unnecessary and superfluous. All vehicles have to stop at railroad crossings, and there's no exemption for school-buses. Even if there was, why does this have to be a federal law? You don't have to be a States Rights extremist to say it should be handled on the state or local level.

I'm not surprised Bill became a Law. No doubt Congressmen would be falling over themselves to support the Don't Kill My Kids With Trains Act. The same goes for the Don't Throw Kids Off Cliffs, Don't Immerse Them in Lava, and Don't Bombard Them with Gamma Rays Acts. That doesn't change the fact that they're lousy goddam laws!!!! Bill complains "I could daaah!" in committee. You should die in committee, Bill! In fact the committee should shoot you, stab you, strangle you and leave your body on the Capitol steps as a warning to others. Grumble grumble grumble!!!
