It became conventional wisdom, after the election, that Democrats had to talk about Jesus a lot and to share the "moral values" of the heartland. Have no fear -- our leaders are on the case! Hillary Clinton is leading the crusade against Grand Theft Auto! Meanwhile, Houston rep and DNC member Al Edwards -- yes, that's in Texas, of all places -- is going to crack down on sexy cheerleaders! "It's just too sexually oriented, you know, the way they're shaking their behinds and going on," he says. Uh-huh. Talk about your winning political issues, guys.

It's a pit y the Republicans aren't trying to downplay the religious angle and focus more on fiscal conservatism (granted that may require kicking Bush out of the Party) and focusing a bit more on the South Park Republicans.

I figured Hillary was more after tha violence and "promotion of guns", though I imagine enthusiastic soccer moms are mroe violent than the average gun owner :)
