Yet Another Election

I voted today, straight Democrat except for City Council where I voted against the Vallone family scion. (Not that it will matter -- there wasn't even a Republican in the race -- but I felt I couldn't hold Bloomberg accountable for term limit elimination without doing the same to the CC.)

As for my prediction tonight, I expect a full sweep against the Dems. The only folks who give a shit this year are the tea-bagging whack-jobs. (OTOH Maine will probably go for marriage equality. Yay lobsters!)

The Tea Party groups are a bunch of hypocrites. Where were they when Bush was President? The turnout is a bit sad. Has NY 23 been decided. I imagine Owens will win that. I also imagine the Democrats will keep Tauscher's seat.

You appear not to have been the only one in New York -- while defeating Bloomberg was a lost cause from the beginning, you guys made it closer than anyone expected. Hopefully this will give him something to think about.

Washington State's 'everything-but-marriage' law looks like it's going to go through by a decent margin. I won't stop holding my breath till everything is counted, though.
